Monthly Budget
One of the last pages in Mom’s logbook was their monthly budget. Originally it was $5,216.00 a month but several things had been crossed off including the quarterly rent for their lot at Fort Tatham. Also crossed off was Duke Power and Altel phone which were because Mom and Dad had been paying my sister Beth’s power and phone bills as they were struggling but they are crossed off so at some point they stopped paying them. It also looks like Mom and Dad were giving Mark (Beth’s husband) and their two grandsons, Zack and Jeremy $20 a month. With the changes, the adjusted budget was $4409.05.
