2009
Mom and Dad’s long-distance travels had come to an end and now Mom started recording local travels. They had such wonderful adventures together over the years which I found sad when I read her logbook that now she recorded trips to the doctor and dentist.

[1] Betty and Billy built a new house some years back out in the Old Country not far from where their old house that they lived in the 1960’s. They son, Tim Yawn lived in the old house and their daughter Karen and her husband lived not far down the road. Betty’s sister, Anita Beck lived across the road from Betty. After Billy died, Betty’s daughter Janice and her husband Victor moved in to take care of Betty in her old age.
