Subject: Glad Its Friday
I'm glad its Friday. I didn't think I'd make it. I need to
spend some time regrouping and redirecting this weekend, as I already
seem to be too pressured from school/work/life. I didn't get around to
walking all week, etc. Usually Fridays at work is a slower time,
but this morning it didn't start off that way, so I didn't get the quiet
time I usually have. One thing I do have in place is getting to
work 10-15 minutes early, but other things have slipped. For
example, if I don't read the paper at work on my break, I will never get
it read, so because I didn't take breaks at work this week, I have a
stack of unread newspapers. I have a tendency to not take my
breaks if I'm busy working, or I just don't think to take one. Not
much to talk about. I'm tired and I'm facing a weekend of massive
studying. The Civil Procedure One grades from last semester were a
disaster--the highest grade was a 60/100 and half the class got D's or
F's. I have CP Two this time and am at a disadvantage because I
didn't have the professor last term (I'm making up the class because I
skipped it when I only took two classes instead of three). Did you
give anymore thought to "more school" which you talked about once, or
doing distance learning. More and more schools have online
courses. You probably don't need "more school" though for your
profession. I have a friend who works in the office close to the
library and I keep trying to get her to do her B.A., finish it, but she
stalls, while meanwhile being unhappy and unable to find a good or right
job. I think the truth is, I am ready to retire. If I had a
cabin in a remote area, I'd move there, and do nothing but read, and go
out in nature. Now though, I think I'd want a computer with
internet access.
