I hope you had a good four day weekend.  Mine was OK, didn't do much, just stayed in the house mostly and did things inside.  The temp. was over a hundred with heat index of 103-110.  Julie's father has a friend, Alan, that is blind and her father said that Alan was interested in getting a computer and asked me what he should get.  By coincidence I was talking to my yoga teacher after class one night and found that she writes programs that talk for blind people as her work during the day.  I asked her about what Alan should get and she recommend a program called Jaws of all things.  She said that she had it on her computer at her home and asked if I would like to come over to see it.  Come to find out she lives just a couple of blocks from me. So on Saturday around 4pm I went over to her place and she showed me Jaws we then talked until around 7pm and then I said I was going to grill some vegetables and Boca burgers and asked if she wanted to join me.  Well she said yes and she stayed until around 10pm.  I'm not sure what to make of the experience.
 
Sounds like your apartment noise is beginning to get to you.  What a pain, to find a place that is convenient and you like then to have neighbors that spoil it all.
 
Well this is probably the only note I'll get off this week.  Wednesday I have the ATF people here for a project review and then I fly out Wed. night to go to Austin to demo the web project for the USDA.  I'll take the laptop with me so I might check mail in the evening.

Nothing happened with Susan other than interesting conversation. About ten years younger than me, kind of plain looking, never wearing makeup, Susan was attractive but not beautiful. After many difficult conversations with Julie in the past couple of years, I found it easy and comfortable talking to Susan. We mainly talked about yoga and computers, I was truly interested in software for blind people and how it might help Julie’s father’s friend.  Even still, I had dinner with another woman even though it was only as friends.

Bizarre Dream
