Is it "worth it" for you to get the high speed connection. I thought
they mostly had home office-business applications. I mean also, around
here I think, but I'm not sure, that they're pretty steep per month to
get. I know they are being offered. I'm spoiled at work as
my internet is never sluggish and extremely fast. When I go other
places, sometimes it drives me crazy "waiting." When I first
started exploring the internet a great deal (here at work) I spent a lot
of time going Oh Golly Gee Whiz. I was overwhelmed going from one
thing to another. I was doing on-line Spanish lessons, playing chess,
reading hypertext versions of Shakespeare, and lots of other things.
Now, I don't "surf" as much without a destination in mind, but I do have
100's of "favorites" some of which I hit everyday. Did I tell you the
time I typed "bored" in as a search term, and all the EXPLICIT sexual
things that came up, supposedly to cure boredom.
My class in Employment Law is pretty good, but there is a real fruit
loop student in the class. I e-mailed the instructor that I don't
want to hear any more of it! He spouts off these "theories" which
are quite paranoid. I watched Lethal Weapon, I think III, on t.v.
last night. I remember the very first one quite clearly.
Have you bought any more DVDs? I've heard that Snow Falling on
Cedars is supposed to be one of the beautifully photographed movies
ever.
Otherwise, nothing much new. I'm walking at the mall, still
everyday.
Class on Wed. afternoon is a TREAT, getting out of here, BUT I don't
want to "return" to work on Thursday. Have you seen Galaxy Quest?
I wonder if it is any good. I'd like to see The Hurricane, maybe
this weekend, but not sure. I'm on the last few pages of Toxin--its
taking me so long to "finish"
it now that school has started. I read the first 3/4 in two days,
but now I'm stuck finishing it. I'm bored at work as usual.
