Elizabeth,
  No, I don’t do any of the dating sites.  I did try one a couple years after I got divorced and didn’t have much luck with it.  None of the women I expressed interest in responded.  I did have three dates women that contacted me but none had a second date.  I find it interesting that you looked at it.  On the other hand my daughter met her husband on eHarmony and another yoga friend my age husband died and she met someone who she married.   I did try speed dating once which was interesting.  I did end up dating one woman I met for several months until she moved to New Mexico where she took a job as the dean of women at the Navaho Indian college for women. 
 
  I also dated a woman I had known from yoga class for several years.  Before we “dated” we would occasionally meet for dinner, a walk or some event.  After a few months of this we decided we were dating which lasted for about six months when we decided we would stop dating.  I think we both knew we were OK with being friends but not serious enough for a relationship.  The following year she married another man.  I see them both most every Monday night at yoga class and we often talk before class.
 
  I did have an interesting experience last year.  I have this yoga friend I have known for several years who is married who I knew didn’t have a very good relationship with her husband.  She contacted me wanted if I was interested in meeting for lunch which we did a couple of times.  I felt that she wanted more and finally she said she and her husband hadn’t had sex in many years and she met an old friend and had sex with him and it excited something in her she hadn’t felt in a long time and want to have sex with me.  Well I suspected as much but I have a strict policy of not having intimate relationships with married women and told her so.  We are still friends.
 
  I don’t actively look for a relationship but I do keep an open eye for someone I might find interesting.
