A New Year

Manatees in the water

The new year started with Brenda and Tom coming down from North Carolina for a couple of weeks. They brought their camper which they first stayed at Stephen Foster State Park on the Swannee River at White Springs which is about an hour north of Gainesville.  While there then came over to my house a couple of afternoons and dinners.  One day they the three of us went over to Manatee Springs State Park w where we saw several manatees in the river.

After spending a couple of hours at Manatee Springs we continued on to Cedar Key where we had lunch at a restaurant overlooking the water.

After a week of staying at Stephen Foster Brenda and Tom continued down to Hillsborough River State Park in south Florida by Tampa. I had wanted to take my camper there the same week as I had done last year but it was all booked up.
