Dec 3, 1954.  Both bur. Enterprise City Cemetery, Enterprise, Coffee County, AL

Larou (LaRue) R. Mixson, son of Harmon W. and Missouri Snellgrove Mixson was b. Nov 14, 1901 in Coffee County, AL, d. Oct 27, 1962, at the home of his son near Ft. Walton, FL. He m. to Ollie Mae Lewis, b. Apr 3. 1909 at Geneva. AL, d. Dec 3, 1999, dau. of Albert and Mamie Fussell Lewis. Their home was in Enterprise, AL. Both bur Old Tabernacle Cemetery, New Brockton, Coffee County, AL. 

Note: There is some question as to the spelling of “Larou” first name.  His tombstone spells it “Larou” as does many records but in a handwritten letter dated Apr 11, 1957 to John Leslie Mixson he signed it “LaRue”.^[f07-d15]

(Mr. and Mrs. Mixson were divorced about 1951).
