Henry Harrison Mixon, s. of Benjamin Franklin and Elizabeth Welch Mixon, was b. in Perry County, MS, Mar 10, 1858 Perry County, MS, d. Sep 28, 1940 Perry County, MS. On Aug 21, 1888, he m. Mary Dicy Stewart, b. Aug 21, 1868, d. Oct 13, 1934, dau. of Elliott and Nancy Ferguson Stewart. The wedding was held at the home of Mr. Mixon's sister, Martha Jane Ferguson. Henry was taught to be a typesetter at the orphanage at Lauderdale. He worked as a printer's devil for Dr. Baylis at Waynesboro and Ellisville. He was a Justice of the Peace around 1917.  Both bur.
