Elias W. Mixon, son of Easley P. Mixon and his wife, Mary Rebecca Rollins Mixon, was b. in South Carolina, Nov 12, 1844, d. Aug 17, 1910. In 1865 he married A. Elizabeth “Eliza” Rains, b. in South Carolina in Jul 9, 1847, d. Jun 21, 1924.  Both bur. Grove Hill Cemetery, Darlington, Darlington County, SC. In the 1880 census of Chesterfield County, South Carolina, the family is shown with the following children (all born in South Carolina):

4527 Andrew Fuller Mixon - b. Nov 12, 1866, d. Jul 20, 1943. About 1887 he m. Elizabeth Douglas, b. Apr 17, 1869, d. Dec 5, 1961.  Both bur. Zeta Cemetery, Tennille, Washington County, GA.
