John Llewellyn Mixon, planter, s. of Wright and Susie Tucker Mixon, was b. in Irwin County, GA, Oct 4, 1892, d. Feb 8, 1984. In 1916, he m. Minnie Belle Baker, b. Jul 8, 1891, d. Nov 25, 1981, a schoolteacher and native of Dayton, TN.  Both bur. Brushy Creek Cemetery, Ocilla, Irwin County, GA. They had no children of their own, but distinguished themselves by the adoption of and rearing and helping educate the following two sons of Oliver and Nellie F. Morris Mixon (see #3482).
