"A Mason's blessed sight"

"For more than forty years Brother James L. Mixson, 33 deg, . used his sight and his- whole effort in the service of man and Masonry. In the Biscayne Bay Lodge No. 124, F. & A. M, . for instance, he was Worshipful Master in 1937, Secretary from 1943 to 1944 and Treasurer for twenty-five years from 1945 to 1969. He was also Master of each of the four Coordinate Miami Scottish Rite Bodies ad their Treasurer for the last twenty years, an office he still holds. He was invested with the K. C. C. H. in 1945 and Coroneted an Inspector General Honorary of the Thirty-Third Degree in 1949. His very active Masonic life was matched by four decades of full membership in church, civic, and business associations.
