Nancy J. Metcalf, dau. of John (or Jonathan) Metcalf and his wife, Helen Price Mixson Metcalf, was b. in Dale County, Alabama, Oct. 16, 1868, d. Feb. 4, 1935. In 1896 she m. Louis Snellgrove - b. Oct. 10, 1867, d. June 23, 1932. Both were Baptist and were buried at Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Snellgrove was son of Jesse C. and Caroline Snellgrove.  Both Ebenezer Cemetery, Dale County, AL.
