2063 Nancy Mixon, dau. of Samuel Mixon (705) and his wife, Keziah Mixon (Smith) is listed in Vol. I, p. 199 as being born in 1785, however, Dr. Coulliette has records that she was born in 1784, in Darlington District, SC, m. Hardy Watford, b. 1784 in Pitt County, NC, d. 1853 (1862), son of Major Joseph Watford and Priscilla Fazer, a Revolutionary Soldier. (Nancy and her sisters Penelope and Lydia married brothers). All following children were b. in Darlington District, SC, except their last child, Simpson, who was b. near Slocomb, AL
