The Hacienda

After having a wonderful time, we left San Felipe and traveled inland to a small pasing through a small town in which there was a festival going on then on to a Hacienda where we stayed the night.

Well I managed to get away and we continued out into the country side to the entrance of the Hacienda
This Hacienda was once an old colonial rubber plantation, quite grand in its time, but fell in do decay after the collapse of the rubber industry due to the invention synthetic rubber. Some such plantations are having a rebirth as boutique hotels.
