HAYC Trip to Mexico

2006 was a busy year for yoga workshops.  Starting with a New Years workshop with Desiree and Siana in Berkeley then followed by what had become my yearly February HAYC trip to Mexico with Susan Van Nuys.  This was my fourth year and, as always, we had a great time. 

In May I attended a weekend workshop with Desiree in Charlottesville.   Then in August was a most fantastic trip to Bali with Desire.  In Bali we spent time in Saunar, Muduk, and Ubud.  We visited Bali temples, took part in a water purification ceremony and went to a most unbelievable cremation in which over  25 bodies were cremated. 

For the Fourth of July my daughter Anne and I went down to see my parents at their cabin in Fort Tatham North Carolina where they had a cookout and music.

Then there was the article in the Washington Post Magazine about me and my yoga experience.

 

In October the yoga group went to Suzanne's place on Smith Mountain Lake.  Susan led a yoga practice on the dock Saturday and Sunday mornings.
