Sunday Oct 24, 1999
Very cold this morning.
Closed up the cabin for the winter. Leaves not too pretty this
year. To dry all summer. Went to Ashville to get apples
at the Farmers Market & leaves were prettier over that way.
Zella Mae & Monroe Hedick have been here for the past 2 weeks.
They bought a cabin (lot 22) from Jim Shears. Betty & Billy
left last Monday to go home.
Left Ft. Tatham at 7:00 AM. Topped in Commerce, GA for
breakfast at the Cracker Barrell. Bright & sunny out.
Beautiful cool day.
Guests this week: Chris & Henry, Carolyn & Lamar, Evelyn & John.
Got home at 3:30 pm – 8 ½ hours.
