Anyway, she got upset, and said she was "leaving herself" and going out
to get a hamburger. (She was on a clear liquid diet for some tests
the next day).
Well, at least I don't stoop to peanut butter and jelly, although I do
like peanut butter and banana. I've started eating yoghurt again
for the calcium. The recommendations are at least 1200 mg. a day
for women my age. That has to be planned in. Fortunately I
like milk, and I eat mozarella cheese (I don't eat regular high fat
cheeses anymore except as a special treat, although I love them), and I
try to get "green" lettuce, though for a while the price on that
apparently will be exhorbitant due to El Nino in Calif. Plus, I
eat some TUMS fairly regularly, although I don't need them for
indigestion, they are also good calcium supplements. Well, I'm
marginally bored, waiting to get out of here at 4:30.
