Good morning. I hope you had a good weekend. Mine was very
busy and rainy. It has now rained five days straight and is
supposed to rain again Tuesday. I like rainy days but this has
been a little much. Saturday was home repair day, in the morning I
went to the stone place to look at stone for my backyard fountain
project, then went to the lumber yard to get some cedar boards to repair
the front deck then to the home supply store for odds and ends. I
also tried to get my car inspected but the line was to long so I didn't
get it done. Saturday afternoon I was just going to replace some
rotten boards on the front deck but when I took them off I found that
carpenter ants had gotten into the post and it was shot so I had to
replace the post as well as the siding. That took most of the afternoon.
Sunday, after reading the paper we went to yoga. The class was a
little different in that it was all "restorative" poses which are mostly
all laying down stretching exercises. I found that "restorative"
does not mean "relaxative" as some of the poses took some work.
Since it was mother's day , our daughter Anne then made Eggs Benedict
but with spinach and salmon, it was great. The afternoon I ran
speaker wire from the stereo in the living room, through the basement to
the kitchen so Julie could listen to the stereo in the kitchen. I
then put new brake pads on my Explorer. Quite a busy weekend, even
with the rain.
Yes I use the Boboli crusts for pizza. I typically use the jar
pasta sauces, Paul Newman's Own makes some good ones. I usually
make vegetarian pizza with veggies such as black olives, artichoke
hearts, graded carrots and broccoli. Sometimes I will put crabmeat
(canned) on it. If it is just me sometimes I will make a mini
pizza on a large size pita bread.
Did you catch the commercial during X-Files for the June release of the
X-files movie?
Larry
I still make Boboli pizza to this day. Humm, maybe I’ll make it for dinner tonight.
