How is everyone this beautiful Monday morning?  Hope you had a good weekend. Sat. morning we left at (am and went to Perkins to eat breakfast (took over an hour as they were real busy), then we caught the bus from Oaks Mall to the stadium.  The game was at 12:30.  It was a bright and warm day.  Some times we had a breeze.  We beat S.C. 33-14.  Our last game here for the season.  We got home about 5 PM tired.  Yesterday we went to SS and church and then about 4PM I went up to the Nursing Home to feed and visit Mom.  She's about the same, no better; only weights 63 lbs now, and sleeps most of the time.  Tomorrow, Tuesday, our SS class is having a party (fish-fry) out at Magnesia Springs.  A couple from our class, Monroe and Zella Mae went to Alaska this summer and did a lot of fishing.  They sent a lot of it home so they offered to fry the fish for all of us.   Wed. night our church is having a program on the Y2K problem. If they give out hand-outs I'll get you all one and send it to you.  Well, I'm washing and I must stop now to tend to it.  Have a good day and I'll talk to you again after we come back from our cruise:  we leave Thursday morning and get back Sunday afternoon.  Love to all of you  Mom and Dad

[1] “Mo” was Dad’s nickname, short for Morris.

Email was sent from Dad’s AOL account but was written by Mom as she didn’t have an account. Dad recently bought a computer which he spent hours playing games on, the card game Hearts being his favorite.
