Subject: Fridays
I agree with the TGIF. Getting to Friday is a major accomplishment
with me these days. The Expo sounds wonderful. I would like
so much to have a Japanese garden of sorts. It would not have to
be large, but I sort of have a vision of it in my mind. Sometimes I
wonder lately, though, how many of my visions of things will ever be
realized. I try not to get into the "comparative" trap, but the
reality is that Montgomery has some wealth. Home and gardening is
very big, although, to me, alot of it is so sterile--big yards with
lawns and some controlled shrubbery. We got snow recently as well
in North AL. I think I have been feeling more energetic since getting
the sinus treatments. Actually a little "wired." I think
that may be the Claritin. What I keep asking myself though is,
"Was the nasal sinus problems and the possible infection dragging me
down, so that I was dragging around kind of blurry and the medicine has
cleared that up" OR "Is the medicine actually producing kind of a mild
buzz." I'm supposed to go back for a recheck like NOW, but haven't
done it yet. I don't feel as fatigued, so maybe my body was
battling a subliminal infection. The test will be whether I wake up
again with the "kind of sore throat but not really more like
pharyngitis" that has plagued me the last year--but which always goes
away with Vitamin C. I was looking at my law school flow chart
yesterday, and as I looked at it "the reality" of finishing seemed
close. When I look at what I've done, it seems amazing. I
JUST have to get through this semester. The summer courses will be
okay (Wills and Trusts and Business Law--yech). Its this Civil
Procedure stuff and Torts that's getting me. Well, have fun at the
Expo. You didn't say much about your ear. I'm totally out of
it this week--haven't read the newspaper, my house is a mess, I've been
staying up too late and getting up too early, eaten too much on the spot
food, etc., etc. Haven't walked. Weather here is absolutely
gorgeous, sunny and mildly cool.
