Subject: Snow and more snow
We had what I thought was a pleasant surprise yesterday, we got almost a
foot of snow. Many people hate the snow but I still think it is a
lot of fun and makes everything a winter wonder land look.
Initially they said we would get a half inch by mid-afternoon and maybe
2-3 inches total by last night. Well they were wrong! It
stated snowing at 8am and became quite heavy, by noon we had four inches
by 5pm we had 8 inches and by this morning we had almost a foot. With my
four wheel drive it isn't much of a problem, in fact I have great fun
going out driving in it. There were many cars left in parking lots
covered with snow and quite a few on the side of the roads that had
slide off. Our one cat, Nebie, had great fun going out and playing
in the snow that was higher than he is. They let everyone go home
early, right after lunch but I worked until around 3pm doing some
web/Java work. Most all the schools and government are closed
today, we are "open" but our snow policy is a "liberal leave" type in
which if you can’t make it in then you can take a vacation day or are
expected to make it up some time in the same week. Well I hope the
trial is going well for you. Julie has been subpoenaed to appear
in court as an expert witness for a child neglect case. Julie has
had the child and the mother in therapy for several months, she is a
little nervous about it. Well back to work Larry
