Subject: Not Much
Not much going on. One of our professors was supposed to give us
an assignment "AND plenty of time to do it" but then Monday he handed it
out and said it was due THIS Monday. That pissed me off, because
he had cancelled class last week and we had no assignments and he could
have given it to us before then--BUT he just didn't plan right--which
was obvious because when he handed out the assignment he THEN realized
there wasn't enough time for him to grade them if he gave us more than a
week. I was glad I gave him a mediocre evaluation, which we had
just done before he came back in and lectured. Actually the class
isn't mediocre, because I'm learning a lot, I just don't like his style
very much. The assignment is to do the articles of organization to
form a limited liability company, which is really a quite useful
assignment. However, when I scanned the net to see if I could find
examples, I saw online companies offering to do it for 99.00. I
think its neat how when you search for a topic online, that the banner
advertising "matches" what you're looking for. It was hard to miss
it because it kept flashing "L.L.C's for 99.00." Because of the
crunch on doing it, I left work a little early yesterday to go by the
State Library because I had found from their online catalog they had a
couple of do it yourself LLC books. One turned out to have a disk.
Well, it has been quite peaceful at my apt. complex because the water
pipe neighbors aren't there.
I don't know if they are actually moved out or what--but it is so
peaceful. It is like it was when I first moved in--ALMOST dead
quiet. Any more developments on your yoga instructor? Have
you tried those foil bags for grilling. I saw them advertised on
t.v. The newspaper has been running alot of recipes with them.
Apparently you can also use them in the oven. I clipped out a few,
one for potatoes that sounded real good. I'm a little discouraged
right now, but I'm having to shove it aside. It really DOES NOT
look like the law school will get the cherished ABA accreditation, not
while I'm there. I looked through a book about state requirements
and there are not many choices. I was depressed to find out that
ALL federal jobs require an ABA, so that rules out EVERY federal
agency--should I be so inclined.
The basic rule for states to which I could go is "practice for 3 to 5 to
10 years in your state" THEN you can come here, take the bar and we will
license you." Florida requires 10 years !!!. Well, just
rambling. I still have about two years to go. Maybe they'll
get the move on with the ABA.
