Well,--humm--I would imagine if Julie knows or finds out your yoga
instructor is coming over alone for dinner--well--I would think she
might get hurt (?) although that might be too strong, and/or might be
either attracted back or pushed further away. I know you didn't
ask for that comment, but, based on what you've said, I've assumed you
wanted to do everything possible to have her return. I'm sorry to
hear that its down-turned. Most of your notes have indicated a
continued frequent togetherness. I've lost track of the time--it
seems it is approaching almost a year since she moved out. I never
grill out per se, but the few times I do burgers or steaks, and more
rarely bacon, I light up my small Coleman and cook on the porch.
That's because I don't want the grease and/or smell in my apartment.
I envy you getting to travel with your job.
I go stir crazy, I think. I feel as if I never get out of this
town, the library, the law school, my apartment. Right now I'm
"down" about my options. I didn't want to continue library
work--although a J.D. and the M.L.S. puts me in very good stead for a
variety of jobs. I actually saw a very good job in Oregon that
would involve library and teaching some legal research courses. I
think D.C. is one of the areas that might accept my degree, BUT all
their websites wouldn't come up--not for government jobs, but just to
work in D.C. (what else is there though I wonder). I'm determined
to finish five years here at Baptist, which gives me a small
pension--very small. If you decide you and Julie are not going to
resume, let's have coffee some time (I know-- you only drink tea).
