Subject: Re: Boring Class
I'll send you the title of N.S.'s book. I didn't want to buy more books,
but the copyright dates were rather old and Barnes and Nobles only had
one copy of each left--figured they might be out of print. I took off
this afternoon (wed) to go to class this aft. instead of Thurs. night.
I'm also taking Thurs. off, and then obviously won't have class Thurs.
night. (My other two classes are Mon. night and Tues. night and I rather
like getting it all over so quickly.) My plan is to see two movies.
I'll go to one at one and then another at four. I think I'll catch
the Willis movie if it is still here, then the midlife movie (?) as
well, if I can. If I don't do this now, I won't get to go for the
rest of the semester as things are gearing up. The schedule this
year puts finals right after Thanksgiving, and Oct. is almost gone.
I'm bored as hell at work. I hope they don't get into my e-mail.
I'm getting really antsy about being there with not a whole lot to do.
That sort of meshes in with possibly switching law schools--but I hate
to throw away a cushy do nothing job--actually its not that I "do
nothing"--its just very erratic--some days I am crunched, but haven't
been that way since weeks and weeks ago (in fact during finals--which
was the worst time). Well, just got out of class and checked my
e-mail. Well--Julie and you are going through with it, aren't you.
I hate that you invested so much in that relationship, all those years,
and then--oh well, I don't know what I'm saying--maybe you've said it
yourself--part of the "plan" of a relationship is to have someone so you
can grow old together and care for each other as well as enjoy those
years. Elizabeth
