Subject: Lost E-mail
I wrote you a long note at school yesterday, but couldn't send it.
Something must have been wrong with their server. I hardly ever
send mail from there. Eventually I gave up and couldn't even save
it. One thing I wrote--the book by Stephenson is The Diamond Age.
The copyright isn't as old as I thought--1996. Otherwise, I took
off Thurs. to study, get some R & R and also talk to a prof about
transferring to UA. I can't get an answer from UA about accepting
my credits. I e-mailed them again today. For R & R I had
planned to see two movies--American Beauty and the Harrison Ford movie.
I saw the first one and it was so impactful--black and heavy that I
didn't stay to see another movie. Whew--After the movie I really
wanted to talk about it to someone--but most of the people at
school--well I have to be careful. The movie had some strongly
explicit themes re homosexuality and marital infidelity and other
things. Well--I'm trying to get out of here--running late--I want
to go see Sixth Sense before it leaves. I can catch the 1:30 show.
I was supposed to get out at 12, but got caught doing too much.
Have a good weekend. Elizabeth
