I'm in finals mode. I took yesterday off, not because of finals,
but because I just felt like s.... I needed a day at home though.
Did wash. Studied. Took a nap. Went to my last class.
I'm storing up things to do for what always seems like a short break.
Sierra Club has the beach house from Friday, the day of my last final,
through the following Monday--I may go down--but its about a five hour
drive, and I don't know if I'm up to it. Plus the bunk house is
not the most comfortable place. I'd love to see the beach though.
I rushed to the university (AUM) library last evening, just before they
were closing for the rest of December. I wanted to stock up on
books. I pay 25/yr for a guest card, but I feel it is well worth it.
They had a wonderful book on 20th century physics which I had checked
out a while back, but then did not have a chance to read. Its a large
book with a lot of pictorial stuff, published in 1999, so its fairly up
to date. I managed at the last moment before closing to relocate it.
Plus I picked up some schlock like "Neandertal"--some sort of easy read
book, and some poetry books that just came out. You might want to try
and catch the TNT "Scrooge" show this weekend. Patrick Stewart (?)
from Star Trek is the lead. I heard him on NPR and it sounded
good. I may make it my one "R & R" this weekend. Well, I
need to catch up on work, so I can possibly study a while. First
final is Monday night, in a class I hate. Elizabeth
