I finally made a decision NOT to e-mail the professor I had been
exchanging e-mail with. Sometimes when I see him he mentions the
e-mail, or refers to it, but he never writes back, or hasn't done so in
ages and ages. Mostly I send questions about classes, which he has
told us to do, but mostly he hasn't replied to them. I e-mailed a
"friend" I went to school with ONCE AGAIN. I wrote once, she wrote
ack, and I wrote back (e-mail), but then she never replied again.
I sent a note saying "I never heard back from you," but I never heard
back from that note either. I really like the e-mail from you, as
I feel rather isolated in this job position, and to some extent in this
town AND THIS STATE. I've just been trying to get a few more
exchanges going, but without too much success. Maybe other people
don't have the time (OR INTEREST in corresponding perhaps).
