Subject: RE: Remembering
Memories are strange in what we remember and what we do not.
You have told me some bits about you mother and father in the past, your
parents were so different than mine who were married for 60+ years until
death did they part. I am sure that both yours and mine parents
had a significate influence on our relationships
I am sure you are right about my cat Kathleen, I didn’t’ take him to
Melbourne when I first moved and came back some time later to get him.
I do remember you VW Van. It had broken down and I helped you
rebuild it in my back room. I remember as we were doing so you got
pissed off at me for doing some of the reassembly without you as you
want to be there for the whole building.
When we first met I was still living with Bill. I remember you
staying one night, it being my first.
I do remember the trip to North Carolina in my old Ford Econolan van.
I was kind surprised you went with me.
I don’t remember visiting you at Alachua General. We did exchange
a few letters after I move to Melbourne. I didn’t know you had
moved and went to UCF until I saw you riding your bike as I was going to
class.
