Capturing Inner Light in Photos of Yoga Masters
Hello Larry,
How was Banff? I checked your website to see if you had posted
anything about it since I'll be going myself in September, but I didn't
see anything. I'll be with a group, but some time will be
unstructured. What did you choose for your individual excursion?
Otherwise, it is too hot and humid to do much of anything here.
I've been watching two series on DVD, "The Outlander" and also "The
Affair." I think I'll watch CBS's new summer show "Salvation,"
starting this Wednesday evening, but reviews have not been kind.
It is another asteroid expected to strike Earth story!
I finished up my Blue Apron trial (thanks), but decided to not continue.
The first box was fun, but I noticed that it added a pressure to use or
cook up the foods before they spoiled (which is a trap I get into on my
own when I shop and buy groceries, but am trying to avoid!). Also, while
the meals were fairly simple, they are still somewhat more elaborate
than what I might regularly do. I ended up using some of the foods
in much simpler ways, for example using the fresh asparagus raw in a
salad, rather than stir frying it. The dish I enjoyed most was the
catfish, but I fixed it my way, not their's, just by baking it a bit
with lemon juice and paprkia. Mississippi specializes in farmed
catfish, but I'm not too keen on them (what they are fed has a horrible
smell), and most of the fish available locally is from China, Viet Nam,
or South America, which I also refuse to use. So basically I stick
to canned wild caught salmon for fish, i.e. making salmon patties
occasionally--uhmm which I think I may do for dinner as I haven't made
them in a while!
Which two yoga masters did you study with? I think I could pick
out one of them perhaps. I'm curious, do any African-Americans do yoga
much?
