Shilo School Opens
The two -room Shilo schoolhouse in 2008
In the fall of 1917 the newly built, two-room, Shilo School opened its doors to students, grades first through eighth. The younger, one through three, grades shared one room and the older grades shared the second room. In following years many Mixson children would attend the school.
