For Brenda:
Tobias Anderson, my father, was born in Norway,
March 28, 1848 at Garceden Wasedet Mosogon. His father and mother
had ten children.
1. Andrew
2. John
3. Eli
4. Thomas
5. Tobias
6. Oleo
7. Martin
8. Ellen
9. Dorthea
10. Bertha
One of the girls
were a step-sister or half sister, I don’t remember which one.
Tobias was 25 years old when he and his father and mother came over
to the U.S. with the rest of their children. Two of the sons had
already came to the U.S. and was living and working in Wis. Or
Minn. I can’t remember when I was about sixteen papa’s brother
Andrew as living in Dis Moines, Iowa. His brother John was living
in Ill. In 1907 or 08. His son died and John sent a picture of the
casket with a picture of his son on it. He looks real young and
very handsome. When we moved back from Brevard Co. his brother
Andrew wrote and wanted his daughter and I to write to one another.
Her name was Marie. Andrew had four children, two girls and 2
boys. One son was in World War I in the
Rainbow Div. which was almost destroyed. He got back safely.
We moved to Mico Fla in 1906. William was just 6 months old, we
then moved to Bonaventure Fl. Where we lived until (Bill) was five,
then moved back to Marion, Co. Fl. Where we lived the rest of my
life or until I was married to Wilbur Mixson. We were married 40
yrs.
