AA Diploma

1986 was a busy year for school with me taking two classes at the same time while working full time.  Starting in January I took the computer course Discrete Structures at UCF and Communications II at BCC then for summer I took Microcomputer Fundamentals at UCF and General Biology at BCC.  I needed a biology credit and UCF would not accept the Zoology class I took at UF back in ’74, oh well.  For the fall quarter I took Introduction to Intelligent Systems which I found quite interesting.  For the final project I wrote a program that simulated neurons in the brain which “learned” some simple task.

With the course credits transferred from the University of Florida and University of Central Florida to Brevard Community College (BCC) and the courses I took there, I surprisingly found I had enough credits for an AA degree which I received from BCC in December of ’86 but my main focus was still completing my Computer Science degree at UCF.
