M.C. (Mack) Mixson, s. of William Pinckney and Mary Ellen Thomas Mixson, was b. in Hampton County, SC, Jul 26, 1890, d. Dec 18, 1965. A fine old gentleman, he made his home in Allendale, where he and his son Richard were distributors for Standard Oil Co., and he had served his town as Mayor for a number of years. About 1911, he m. Edna Leonora “Nonie” Dowling, b. Mar 14, 1891, d. Jun 17, 1972.
