May 20, 1871 (Selena is a Mixson descendent, see #22666 dau. of George Washington Tuton).  Both bur. Sand Hill Cemetery, Varnville, SC.

Note: Miles Franklin Mixon lists his father’s middle name as “Ruth” on his WWI draft card.
Some list Miles’ middle name as Robert. Death certificate just has “R”.
Tombstone list death date as July 19, 1920 but death certificate says July 17, 1920
