Obit:

Walter T. Mixon, 65, died Monday at his home in Natalbany. Funeral services were held Tuesday in Natalbany; interment was in Antioch cemetery. The McKneely Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. He was a native of Spring Creek, the son of Mr. and Mrs. O'Malley Mixon; a resident of Natalbany for the past 50 years.

He is survived by five sons, Charles of Crystal Springs, Miss., George of Covington, Joe, John and S. L. "Speck" Mixon of Natalbany; three daughters, Mrs. Polite Rodiger of Covington, Mrs. John Mochitto of Hammond, Miss Edith Mixon of California; 15 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.

Note: Obituary lists four sons: Douglas Mixon, Joseph D. Hutchinson, Bobby Joe Mixson, Jackie Mixon and a daughter Mrs. Rex Henderson. Sisters Mrs. Johnny Moschita, four brothers, John Mixon, Sherman Mixon, Charlie Mixon and George Mixon.
