A Conversation with Elizabeth
1998

Re: Types & Connections

[1] The FOSE, a Federal government technical convention, was at the Washington DC convention center which had several vendor booths about document imagining so my new company said I could go.
[2] The Myers Briggs type INTP is Introversion-Intuition-Thinking-Perceiving which has the description “Intellectual, logical, precise, reserved, flexible, imaginative. Original thinkers who enjoy speculation and creative problem solving.”  Yes, sounds like me. Elizabeth said she also was INT but didn’t say what the last letter was. I took the test again ten or so years later and my “I” Introversion was significantly less then when I first took the test.
[3] At this time (1998) web browsers did not have the ability to play music or videos built into the browser so you had to install a extension or add-on to the browser to play them. The “Real” add-on was one of the most popular.
