I watched about the first ten minutes of the Moyer part 2 but after hearing the third or forth person talk about their addiction I couldn't take anymore and went upstairs to read. I did watch the rest of the X-files tape and did notice Fox smoking. I did not notice the ring, I still have the tape and may go back and check for it. The beginning of the x-files was kinda cute.
 
It does not surprise me about companies monitoring internet access. I just read in the paper this morning about two employees who got fired because they were downloading porn pictures at work. I think reading a persons mail at work is an invasion of their privacy and should not be done on a casual "monitoring" basis although I understand that companies have the right to do so.


Koi and goldfish can be kept out side year around if the pond is deep enough so that it does not freeze to the bottom. The fish will hibernate when the water temp. drops below 50 degrees. Ice can form on the top, even several inches thick and they will be ok. Crocuses, at least here, don't usually "come up" though the snow but it is not uncommon to get a light snow fall after they come up so it looks like they came up through the snow. It is quite beautiful. But alas, not this year as we did not get any snow.
I have all sort of tools, table saw, power saws, drill press, hand drills, hand saws, planes, etc. My wife always asks "Why do you need to buy another tool, don't you have enough already?" I find I can always find a new tool to buy. I get several tool catalogs and love to look though them and think of the neat tools I could get.
 
I'm surprised you still have a planter from that long ago. Actually I believe it most likely was my father who made it as he got into making such planters for a few years but it is possible I might have made it.
 
Our NPR only has a short 5 minute news on the hour/half hour in the mornings from 6am to 9. There is a second NPR but it does not come in as strong so I have not checked it out.
 
Jazz is such a broad term as there are many different "styles" of jazz. I can't stand the Dixie Land Jazz from New Orleans style, the old black singer style, nor the blue grass. What I like is more the modern piano style which is kinda like new age but with more depth.
 
I really hate getting behind on taxes. When I switched from being an independent contractor to employee years ago I really got behind. I had for many years as a contractor paid quarterly taxes in which I would pay the quarter from my current earnings. That worked OK until I took a full time job and they took out the taxes so I couldn't pay a quarter. We worked out a deal with the IRS that we would pay back the back taxes was all paid back. Now I always have extra taken out. I would rather extra take out and get some back then have to pay it in April.
 
I did hear about the scouts dying while trying to cross a rain swollen stream. It sounds like the guy driving was really foolish in trying to cross the stream.
 
I just got back from a meeting with the ATF downtown. The meeting went well and was able to clarify some of the questions about requirements.
