Subject: New week
Good morning. I got you message on Friday but didn't have time to reply.
About getting a message each day, on a rational level I don't expect you
to send a note each day but I feel disappointed when I don't get one. I
know that some days, even several consecutive, we may be busy and not be
able to write.
It rained most all day Saturday but that didn't stop us from going to
the Crafts fair. It was cold, wet and breezy but it kept most of the
crowds away so that was good. We have a large plain glass window over
the front door and have been looking for a stained glass piece to hang
there. We found one called the "Tree of Life" but it was a bit too
small. We talked to the artist and he can make us the same piece but
larger so I think we will go with it. We also picked up a few smaller
odds and ends for around the house, we can almost always find something
with the over 400 artist and craftsman (craftpersons?).
Sunday I did put new brake pads on the Volvo. It is not so much the
money saved by doing it myself but I enjoy working on the car. An '82
VW, that's neat. I was on the road last week and came up on a strange
looking car from the rear and when I got along side of it found it to be
one of the new "Bugs". It was kinda cute. I remember your old VW van and
when it started leaking oil so much we decided to rebuild the engine. We
took the engine out and had it all disassembled in by back room. You
wanted to learn all about how to work on the engine and wanted to be
their for each disassembly/reassembly step. I remember you getting mad
at me one day for I was getting frustrated at how long it was taking and
assembled a lot of the engine without you being there.
Well I have not quite adjust to the time change but it will be nice to
have more daylight in the evening so I can go bicycling after work. It
also helps with the cats who like to wake us up as soon as it gets
daylight which was around 5:30. With it now being 6:30 it is when I
normally get up.
The ATF is the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms. Did you make it
to the Jasmine Gardens?
