I was quite excited in contacting you.  A few weeks ago an old girlfriend, Elizabeth, sent me an email out of the blue and we begin "conversing" though email.  A week ago another friend I used to work with who I hadn't seen in several years sent me an email about the birth of his new daughter.  This got me thinking about who else I might want to contact and thought of you.  I did a search on the web and found dozens of Wendy Smiths and Sean Smiths, too many to figure out since I had no idea where you ended up.  Finally I did a search on the AMA web page and found a reference to Sean in Ohio, (nice picture Sean).  From this I found a reference to University Hospitals of Cleveland and found their web page.  From this the only email address I could find was for Bryan R. Davis which was BRD@po.cwru.edu so I took a guess that Sean's would be xxxx.  Good guess.  Nice write up about you, it sounds like you have done very well Sean. 
 
I now live in Reston Virgina just outside of Washington DC.  I met a woman, Julie, in Melbourne years ago and got married.  She was originally from the DC area and moved to Florida to get away from the cold.  After about 7 years there she got tired of the heat and wanted to move back to DC.  I got laid off about the same time and so started looking for jobs up here.  It worked out quite well and I love this area as there is always things to do.  I been at several different companies since moving up here, still doing computer work but more a manager then writing software.  I just started my latest job about a month ago as an image "expert".  I have quite a bit of experience at doing document imaging in which companies scan paper documents into the computer and store them so that they can be retrieved from computers through out the company.  In my current role I am designing a image system for the ATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms) in which they are scanning in investigative reports from their field agents which allows them to do searches for similar cases. 
 
Julie and I have one daughter who graduated from Veterinarian school last year and now is a practicing Veterinarian here in DC.  I am quite proud of her.  I still go back to Florida once or twice a year as many of my family is still there.  I haven't been to Melbourne in several years though as most of my family is in Gainesville.  I am planning to go back for our yearly family reunion at the end of this June.
 
It was good to hear from you and would like to hear more about what and how you are doing.

Dear Larry, I’ve printed out your note and will give it to Wendy.  I'm surprised our materials don't give the contact address; Ill check into that.  Sounds like things are going very well for you and your family.
