Yes, my new toys are fun.
I read about the small portable washer/dryer in Popular Science and it
looked like they would be just the thing for a single person. I
have also seen the small washer/dryer in which has the dryer above the
washer. It is a compact unit for small apartments. I don't
know how one could get along with out a w/d. I remember going to
the local laundry mat years ago and what a pain. It also takes
more time. It is so convenient to just do a load of cloths while you are
doing something else at home.
I can hardly call our townhouse land a "yard". The townhouses are
about 20' wide and are right next to each other (common wall in
between). We actually "own" about a 10x20 space in the front of which
half of it is the driveway to the garage. We have a single garage
on the bottom floor. Out back we have a 20' wide by about 20' deep
of which most is a deck. On each side of the deck are 2 ft wide
flower gardens and on the end are flower gardens. Beyond our
"yard" is cluster common property which is about 20' wide and beyond
that is a 30' wide Reston "buffer" zone of all trees. Reston has
extensive "buffer" zones between all properties of which many have
bicycle paths. In the front of our townhouse is a 200 ft or so
wide buffer zone with a paved path that leads down to a lake. The
fishpool I am putting in will be next to our deck and may actually
extend a little into the common property, oh well.
Your knee situation sounds terrible. Have you tired "Arnica"
cream? There is also a arnica pill. It is some herb that
works great for bruises. I use the cream quite often for
racquetball bruises. If you get hit with a ball, usually on the
back of the leg, it makes a 2 inch bruise which can look really bad.
Putting arnica cream on it makes it heal in about 1/4 the time and not
look as bad. I understand boxes use it allot. I don't know
if would help your knee but you might give it a try. Look for it
at the GNC.
Yes we watched Ally last night and then The Practice. We most
always watch Ally but had never seen The Practice. The practice is
clearly more realistic but Ally is much more funny, particularly after
you get to know the characters.
