I couldn't get into HM for a large part of yesterday, although I tried
several times, so I did not get to write. I couldn't even check if
I had any messages. The computer people did come by here today and said
they had a sniffer out on the network(I had never heard the term) and
that the "problem" had been isolated to my machine. I don't know
if they did something or not, but just now my system is so responsive,
it's faster than it has ever been.
A man at the law school last night said Deep Impact was worth seeing.
I'd certainly watch it on video. Every once in a while, but not
lately, I do to the video store and get three to four videos and catch
up with a massive video watching session.
Not much new. I called the law school and the dreaded contracts
grades still aren't out. He promised them today, which is class
night. I have a little bit of a break today in that class will not
meet until 7:00 as he is driving back from Birmingham. However,
I'm dreading my grade. I just hope I passed, because it is
unconceivable to me to even imagine sitting through that course again.
In Property Class we are studying "lost property" and the laws
pertaining to finding property, including mislaid property and abandoned
property. It’s rather interesting.
I feel good. Today has been slow at work and I have been shelf
shifting which is mostly physical labor, having to move the library
books to make better use of space.
I did watch the Practice Monday night as a "treat" and I'm perplexed
about who sang the song in the final closing minutes of the show.
Is there any chance you watched it and could tell me, or know of anyone
who might identify the singer. All I know was it was a male, and
possibly vaguely, remotely sounded like Dylan without the twang.
It was a superb episode.
Well, it's 4:30. Not much of a message, but hello anyway.
Elizabeth
P.S. I thought the Horse Whisp. book was okay too. In fact I
ordered it for the library and after I ordered it became a best seller
and there was only one copy in the entire county system--the one I
ordered.
