Subject: Sounds Wonderful
Sounds like a superb weekend. I didn't realize there would be such
nature things to do so near the "big city." Maybe you should
retire there (HA??). I read about a new trail which opened up near
here, which I plan to explore, if and when I get my energy back.
Apparently a very large meteor hit the earth and now there is a six mile
walk/bike trail quite near the spot which just opened last week.
However, there are many things to do around here which I haven't done.
No, I haven't heard of Boca Burgers. I'll check them out.
I'm imagining it's a type of vege burger, probably in the freezer
section?.
You must have been ready to get it over with after all those years of
commuting. I admire your diligence in doing that. Not only
did you have to go to class in the evenings, you had that long drive.
Fortunately for me the law school is only about 10 minutes from my
house. There are people who commute 2-3 hours to come though (NOT
ME).
I was pulling up Grand Canyon info today, thinking I might plan an end
of summer trip. I have a large chunk of time after summer term,
before fall term, however, it's probably not the best time to go
anywhere. Yet though, I'll still be low on money. I think I'm sort
of like you in that I haven't really seen too many places, even here in
the United States, so it's hard for me to judge where to live
eventually. I listen very closely when other people talk. I
was eves dropping the other night on the conversation about how cold
Colorado was, but that Utah had more moderate winters.
The truth is I don't enjoy fruit very much. I make a joke that my
ancestors didn't eat it, being northern Europeans. I do better if
it is sliced and ready to eat. The cafeteria has chilled
grapefruit slices and I really enjoy them. It seems like a task to
eat it, so I try to work it in. I find if I slice an orange in
circles, then halves and put it on a plate I will usually eat it, but
even yesterday I let a whole orange sit uneaten on my desk all day.
Oh well. It sounds like you are leading a vigorous life. I
wonder if I would have more vigor if I weren't in law school.
Perhaps I'll have more vigor if I find out about my fatigue, if I ever
get an appointment, which I haven't yet. It may be a component of
arthritis I may have to learn to live with. Anyway, I'm doing what
I call my age 50 wake up call. Did you ever get your triglycerides
down? At least I don't have to concern myself with that. The
more I think about it, the more I think my BP, if it is high, is
probably a result of PMS salt consumption.
Have to go. Elizabeth
