I'm writing on Friday about 10:30.  My brother called me just about 45 minutes ago that my mother died.  She went into the hospital for something and died.  That's all he told me.  He told me to call my sister if I wanted the details, but of course, my sister and I don't have a "talking" relationship.  I called my sister-in-law with whom I talk quite a bit, but she hadn't heard.  I feel bad, because when I called her she was very up and in a good mood, and I sort of blurted it out, that mother had died.  Mother and Donna had a good relationship, and Mother really liked Lisa, Donna's daughter (my brother is divorced from Donna).  Anyway, haven't checked my mail.  So much for "my trip."  I think I must have known it was "time."
