I hope you had a good holiday. I had a very relaxing 4th.
Friday I spent most of the day putting finishing touches on the deck and
garden. Friday night we had some friends over and grilled some
seafood and veggies on the grill. Saturday we just hung around the
house, read, worked on the computer and just relaxed. We talked
about going into town for the fireworks but decided not to at the last
moment so instead we watched them on the TV. Not nearly as
exciting but we didn't have to put up with all the crowds. Sunday
was a super day here, high around 82, clear blue sky and a nice breeze
blowing. We did a bike trip from Roosevelt Island, which is in the
Potomac near the Washington monument, to Mount Vernon and back.
The path runs along the Potomac river the whole way and is quite
beautiful. I hope your holiday turned out as well.
