Subject: What's Up
I hope you are okay. Work has been a little slow, which is great
because last week was a wipe out. I'm in "finals" mode or trying
to be. I'm not alone, because other students I've talked to have
said they can't get motivated this time either. They think it is
because of going straight through the summer with a heavy load.
That may be. I just want this term over. TGIF. I
watched the 2nd half of FLW which dealt alot with Falling Water.
It was the house that brought his reputation back. There is one
FLW house here in Alabama and last night PBS did a special on it, but I
only half listened. Ideally I should have taped the shows and
studied instead, but then I never get around to watching the tapes, so I
just took the time. I like the immediate benefit of watching
anyway. I love architecture. I fell in love with Mies van
der Rohe's (sp?) when I was in college.
Well, just a short note. I don't know what's going on with you,
and I find it a little difficult to just keep talking. Are you
talking to anyone about the situation with Julie, I mean a friend or
anyone? Are you going to let your parents know, or just hope
things will get cleared up without having to tell them? Anyway,
hope you're well. Elizabeth
