Thanks for the chatty letter, to hear some of the more mundane details
seems somehow reassuring that life goes on. I had a pretty good
weekend. Friday night I played my usual racquetball but had a
really good night. I beat three of the A players. They have been
somewhat reluctant to play me. With the exception of one guy they
are kinda of a snobbish group, not stooping so low as to play a B
player. Well my game is picking up and I am crossing into the A
group. I did play so hard and long that I was totally exhausted
but it felt good. I came home, ate a bit and then Julie came over
to watch Millenium. Saturday was mostly resting and running errands.
I did go over to Julie's place and help her set up a few things
afterwards we watched last week’s Homicide (on tape) which she really
liked. I think it is an OK show but just as well skip it.
Sunday was spent on house things in the morning and the afternoon I went
over to Rick's to help him work on finishing his basement. Julie
came over Sunday night to watch X-files. It seems that I see about
as much of Julie now as I did before she moved out. I do miss her
in the morning and reaching out to know she is next to me at night.
Wednesday I will spend all day downtown doing training on the new system
and then Thurs/Fri I will be going to Cincinnati for requirements
analysis trip. I am also moving offices again to the other side of
the building. It seems to be a regular Dilbert thing to move
offices about every three or four months. I'll still get a window
office but it will be on the south side which gets more sun which I
don't like as much. It makes it warmer and more glare on the
computer screen. It has also been real quiet on this side of the
building since a couple of months ago a group moved to another building
leaving only about three of us on this end. Oh well. I
still haven't decided about Christmas, still thinking about going to
Fla.
