Grief is a difficult thing to deal with. I saw Julie go through it
when her mother died two years ago. It is something I don't look
forward to with my parents, know I will miss them when they are gone.
It also was cold and rainy here this past weekend. I spent most of
the time working on my computer. I'm making a 1999 family calendar
for Christmas presents to my brother, sisters and parents. I
scanned a family photo for each month, made a theme for each month, and
then put everyone's birthdays on. It really turned out quite well
but printing the color pages is really slow, about 10 minutes a page so
after printing most all day yesterday I'm only about half done.
I did watch X-Files, this year is much less gory than last year and is
much lighter and more humorous. I also really wondered what their
gifts were. Yes, the cats really like their condo, it has
three levels with the topmost about six feet tall. They like the
top spot the best and fight over who gets to lay there. I read
about the Fla. Gov. in the paper this morning, quite a surprise. I
have been getting really tired about the Clinton thing, I use to
enjoy listening to the NPR news on the hour but it now is mostly about
the Clinton impeachment which is really getting old. What I find
really sick about it is that the vote is strictly on party lines,
Republicans for Democrats against. It seems to be more of a
political thing then what is right or wrong.
Things should be a bit slower at work this week which is good.
Till, later.
