Subject: Continuation
A physician came in with whom I had to deal. I was saying that I
had watched "My Year in Tibet" (?) on video a while back and some of the
material in that movie overlapped with Kundun. After the physician
left, it went back to slowness. I did all my Christmas cards,
though I don't do many so its not an enormous task. I bought a
lamb shoulder roast last night at the store, and I think I may fix that
over the holidays. I don't usually buy chunks of meat. Its
presliced also, which I don't usually buy, but that's okay because I can
cram the seasonings in between the slices. I also have the
hospital's whole turkey in the freezer, but I don't feel like coping
with that.
Well, I hope you have a good holiday. I don't exactly know what my
schedule is yet, whether I will work Thursday or not. I know I'll
be here tomorrow and probably some, if not all, the weekend after
Christmas. I have built up a lot of vacation time, but don't have
much of a plan to immediately use it. One thing I want to do over
the holidays is try and make pita bread. I think that will be fun.
Also, I have several sacks of blackberries which I would like to reduce
to juice and maybe make jelly, or possibly a blackberry syrup of some
sort.
