I came into work for a bit today and read your note.  I am officially on vacation but one of the managers wanted to have a meeting on Web use for the ATF.  He said it was optional for me but because I am really interested in it I thought I would come in.  Also I put down eight hours for last Thursday but did not come in but "worked at home" so I thought I would put in a couple of hours.  One of the reasons I didn't come in on last Thursday was that it snowed!  We did have a white Christmas.  It was great, it really makes Christmas seem like Christmas when it snows.  We got less than an inch but it was really cold so it stuck around through Sunday.  Julie and I went out to dinner and she said there was something she really wanted me to do, I asked what and she said buy that piano so I went out and bought on Sunday.  I feel kinda bad about it for I charged it and will be paying it off for the next couple of years, but what the hell, I'll get a lot of enjoyment out of it.  We did go see the new Star Trek movie, it was pretty good, probably one of the best Star Trek movies (some were pretty lame).  You mentioned Dr. Zhivago, I never read the book but the movie is great, I hadn't seen in many years but it was on last week and so I watched it.  It has a lot of history about the Russian revolution and is a great love story.  Well, we had the web meeting and it is noon so I'm out of here.    Till next week.  Larry

I bought a Technics sx-PX224 electric piano, and I did really enjoy it for several years but over time lost interest in it. I still have the piano today (2024) and when people see it and ask if I play the piano I tell them, “I more play ‘with’ the piano than playing it.” Last year I tried to sell it for $1000 and had no interest in it. It is still in excellent condition, after all it probably hasn’t been played more than a few hours the past 20 years. After getting no buyers, I considered reducing the price but then thought that I would get so little for it that I might as well keep it.  Still, it takes up space in the house that I could better use and will likely end up selling it.
